Quality Standards

   Through experiences of practical experience, we have found that the testing standards upheld by many internationally renowned companies have become old-fashioned for the garment industry. Vague and immeasurable standards and constantly changing testing personnel have lead to different conclusions the same batch of goods made by different testing professionals from the the testing company. What’s more, a lack of understanding on the knowledge on quality of fabrics and garment accessories and all other factors have caused acceptance test reports in failing to describe the product quality accurately and identify fatal problems. Or they regard small probability events as unacceptable and major problems, misleading the customers on product quality issue while customers can not see such goods on themselves. This problem has inflicted both the customers and the factory.

   Through years of production experience, we have formulated a set of quality standards which cover fabrics, garment accessories, workmanship, hygiene, packaging and etc. For example, we have detailed specifications on snap fastener: surface appearance; bonding strength between Side A and Side B; interior shape; bonding strength between Side C and Side D and forces (N) required to shut or open for the fastener.
    For another example, for garments which have waterproof requirements, we will not only do waterproof tests on the fabric of cloth but also on water washed or rumpled cloth, to ensure that the water proof indicators we give to our customers have practical meaning.   The reason why we are doing this is that most of the waterproof data on fabrics is based on the fabrics before cutting, sewing and other operations. After such operations, the waterproof figure will drop by 20-30%. If the garment has been washed by water once, then such figure can drop as much as 80-90%. We think that this kind of data on quality provided by other fabric factories is meaningless in a total sense.  We will never provide our customers according to practices.
   In addition, we will do waterproof tests on the joint sections of the garment to ensure that the waterproof indicator is the same as that of fabrics. So we will never face a situation where the waterproof indicator for fabrics is higher while such figure for stitches is much lower. What is the use even if the waterproof indicator on fabrics is good?  We can never provide our customers with a garment which has only partially good waterproof property. 


    We have also formulated a perfect set of quality standards on workmanship. For example, the density of sewing threads depends on different thicknesses, different fabrics and different locations. We have formulated a set of standards on sewing strength based on our tests and past experiences. According to such standard, the sewing strength at different locations of the garment can meet the requirements of the product use environment and reduce unnecessary working hours. 
    Meanwhile, we now value more details.  We have found that sewing quality from outside of the sample products may look fine but not necessarily on the inside. This has caused the possibilities of cracks in trouser crotch and sleeves.  Therefore, we have formulated various overlock sewing and overhand plans and standards.  This will make our product impeccable in term of sewing quality.

    We have formulated more than one hundred standards on various detailed. However, our product quality standard system will continue to be updated and improved with more and more product types coming to play.
